Artemis Resources is a diversified exploration company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX: ARV).

Artemis has interests in exploration projects with a focus on the following commodities:

• Gold and base metals (Mt Clement and Yandal in Western Australia)
• Uranium (Niger and Mundong Well in Western Australia)
• Iron Ore (Bamboo Creek and Spinifex Ridge)
• Rare Earths (Yangibana in Western Australia)
  

In 2009 exploration at the three core Western Australian projects has shown promising initial results from the geophysics which has been undertaken. Further exploration will be looking at increasing the prospectivity of each project and building on current resources.

The Company has also made recent acquisitions in the resource sector with the purchase of further interests in Uranium at Niger and Mundong Well and the rare earths projects mentioned above. The Company is continuously on the lookout for projects in Australia that can provide significant value for shareholders.

The name Artemis Resources is derived from the ancient Greek goddess of hunting, wild animals and wilderness: an echo of Artemis’ aim to seek to expand its activities within the minerals industry, both in Australia and overseas.
